The USDA has information on obtaining PREMISE IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS (PIN) for use in disease tracing. This is also required for swine site assessments.
Ultrasound use has become an important service we provide to both food animal and small animal clients. It is far more useful than we expected when we purchased the equipment.
The equipment is used on dogs to diagnose pregancy. Cattle pregnancies are identified down to 32 days routinely and horses down to 15 days. We also do sheep and goats.
The same machine makes it possible to see pleuritis in calves thereby determining how severe a respiratory problem a calf has.
Body condition score (bcs) to manage your nutrition program.
